Beeby Clark+Meyler is proud to be a media partner of Horyou Village at the 2015 Cannes Festival. Presented by Horyou, the Social Network for Social Good, the Horyou Village will highlight the values of social good through the lenses of art, culture and diversity through 12 days at Cannes, from May 13-24th.
The Horyou Village will feature a dedicated interview stage for local and international artists and personalities, a screening area set up for showcasing socially oriented documentaries, and an exhibition area for nonprofit organizations. Located at Le Grand Hotel’s gardens, Horyou Village will be a focal point where participants will engage with attendees and film personalities to promote their socially oriented ideas and projects. It will also include a media lounge, concerts, and performing and visual arts, all of which will be shown at horyouvillage.com on the Horyou social web channel. Launched to the public in 2014, Horyou is based on the idea of using social networking to facilitate ideas into positive actions.
Among the various activities scheduled to take place at the Village, Horyou will be featuring five Global Cause Days. Each day will be committed to sharing knowledge, raising awareness and promoting solidarity among those devoted to the featured causes. Notable personalities, media members and non-profit organizations from around the world will join efforts during the festival to spread positivity. Themes include “nature and wildlife,” “education for all,” “women empowerment,” “innovation for good” and “all for climate.”
Additionally, the Horyou Foundation will hold a Gala Dinner at the Villa Saint Georges on May 20. The Foundation promotes and supports the nonprofit organizations present on the Horyou platform, and cooperates with external projects and initiatives that are in harmony with worldwide humanitarian causes.
Said Horyou founder and CEO Yonathan Parienti, “Horyou Village will be a reflection of the world, highlighting the diversity of its participants, who can build bridges of culture and empathy, with the arts and cinema as the engines of this unique gathering supporting social good.”
